- Anonymous survey on web design pricing - interesting reference for freelancers.
- A few months ago, Jubesfan sent me some adorable TJ&A fan art - I finally got to poke around his gallery, and wow, he's got an impressive cartooning portfolio (the sketchdumps are my favorite).
- Not just for writers: John Scalzi has a great post on "Aspiring Writer Stockholm Syndrome".
- Andrew Newton, a spectacular artist I stumbled upon via DeviantArt, has some work exhibited at Cuadros gallery. For those of us not in the UK, prints are available. Check it out, especially if you like the work of Chuck Close.
- Speaking of DeviantArt, Jim Mahfood set up an account, and has been posting a bunch of amazing quick sketches.
- Diamond in the rough: Violet Epic is a short, silent webcomic by a high school student. The art needs a lot of work, but... it's hard to explain. It's like she's got an instinct for panel-to-panel storytelling. There's noticeable improvement in the space of just 17 pages - I really, really, REALLY hope she keeps drawing comics.
